Processing Times

  • All orders are dispatched within 3–5 working days.

  • During busy periods or shop updates, dispatch may take a little longer, but I’ll always keep you informed.

  • Dyed‑to‑order or pre‑order items will include their own estimated timelines on the product page.

Packaging

  • Your yarn is wrapped with care using plastic‑free, eco‑conscious materials wherever possible.

  • This includes recyclable tissue and stickers, along with sturdy boxes chosen to protect your skeins in transit.

  • I aim to keep packaging thoughtful and low‑impact while ensuring your order arrives safely.

UK Shipping

UK Mainland – Flat Rate

  • A simple flat‑rate shipping option for all mainland addresses.

    Highlands & Islands – Flat Rate

  • Customers in the Highlands, Islands, and remote areas will see a dedicated rate at checkout.

  • This ensures postage is fair and accurately reflects regional pricing.

  • Postcodes include HS, IV, KW, ZE, PA20–PA80, PH15–PH50, KA27–KA28, AB31–AB56, FK17–FK21.

International Shipping

USA – Flat Rate Tracked Delivery

Australia & New Zealand – Flat Rate Tracked Delivery

  • A flat‑rate tracked service for customers across Australia and New Zealand.

  • Your yarn travels safely and securely from Scotland to the Southern Hemisphere.

Europe & Rest of World

  • Additional international regions will appear automatically at checkout based on your location.

  • All parcels are sent via Royal Mail International services.

Customs & Import Fees

Delivery Times

  • Delivery times vary depending on your location and local delivery services:

    • UK: 2–5 working days

    • Europe: 1–3 weeks

    • USA, Canada, Australia, NZ: 2–5 weeks

    • Rest of World: 2–6 weeks

  • These are estimates and may be affected by seasonal delays or customs processing.

    Lost or Delayed Parcels

  • If your parcel is significantly delayed, please get in touch.

  • Royal Mail considers a parcel lost after:

    • 10 working days (UK)

    • 25 working days (International)

    • If your order has been sent with another delivery service, I’ll follow that carrier’s guidelines for delays and lost parcels. Each courier has its own timeframes.

Returns & Exchanges

  • If there’s a problem with your order, please contact me within 14 days of delivery.

  • Yarn must be returned in its original condition.

  • Customers are responsible for return postage unless the item is faulty.
